Sport Management

The Sport Management program offers two undergraduate degrees and two graduate degrees. The Coaching and Administration Concentration prepares students to coach teams at amateur, collegiate, and professional levels. The undergraduate program in Sport Management is designed to prepare students to enter careers in the sport industry, including intercollegiate athletics, facility management, professional sports, the sporting goods industry, private/public sport clubs, resorts, youth sport management, and event management. Some students choose to continue their education through graduate studies in sport management, law and business. The M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Sport Management prepare students in the theoretical, research-oriented, and applied dimensions of the sport industry.

The Laboratory for Sport Management is an educational resource for undergraduate and Master's students and a research laboratory for Ph.D. students and faculty members.
