Dr. Mazerolle currently serves as the program director for the undergraduate athletic training program. In addition to maintaining CAATE accreditation for the program, she teaches courses related to anatomy, athletic injury assessment, rehabilitation of athletic injuries, and prevention and care of athletic injuries.
Dr. Mazerolle's primary research interest focuses on work-family balance for athletic trainers. She is interested in exmaining potential barriers to finding a balance between professional and personal lives for athletic trainers, ways athletic trainers are finding a balance, and avenues to promote a balanced lifestyle for athletic trainers. She is also interested in job burnout, retention, and job satisfaction for athletic trainers.
Dr. Mazerolle is also involved with a variety of committees at the national and state level. She serves as a site visitor for CAATE, an exam writer for the BOC, and was recently appointed the Chair of the Research and Education Committee for the Connecticut Athletic Trainer's Association.
Dr. Mazerolle has worked clinically at both the collegiate and high school levels.
